How easy is it to get started on the Permanent Residency process at this consulate and what is the process?
Before we can transfer money to our bank in Washington from a trust in Mexico we apparently need a permit or some SRE form/approval.

I have photocopy for myself and wife Diane. Should I replace? When? How? Where? With photocopy only, is it better to drive or fly into Mazatlan in October 2018? Thank you...
Question, would I be able to solicit an automobile permit at the consulate for me to travel IN Mexico?? I realize permits can be obtained in Mexico but it would be convenient for me if I could obtain one prior to leaving for my trip. Thank you.
I had hoped this would go to the Consulate. I wish to express my condolences. LIVE feed--another earthquake. 7.1 and with casualties. We are so sd here about what you endure.
I have been trying to get ahold of a Mexican consulate to make an appointment to get a student visa. I have been calling everyday for weeks and finally got the first answer today, and then was hung up on!! I live one hour from Seattle so I don't want to drive all the way up there to discover that I need an appointment to make anything happen. Does anyone know if I can walk in and have a good chance of meeting with someone? I really need to get this dealt with and have had absolutely zero help with trying to get ahold of anyone over the phone.
Fox came into the media talking a big game but he needs to back it up! If Mexico doesn't get it together they will be paying for a wall. Hopefuly one built by Boeing, Raytheon or Northrop that has an incredible about of technology built in. Hopefully Mexico can begin respecting our immigration policies before we get there!
