Administrative Review/Visa
Hello,

I lately have completed a course in Manchester and have been to the UK more than 5 times over the past 5 years.

I was offered a place at the University of Chester to study an MBA course and after applying for the Enry Clearance (VISA) I was refused because the ECO made an error about my bank statement.

I submitted a bank statement which show i have held 7.600.00 £ for 28 days before the day of my application literally as required.

However, the ECO wrongly deemed that my bank statement is in EURO!!! and that i failedto meet the financce requirments though i never had a bank account in EURO and my bank statment which i submitted is explicitly in GBO!!

I had been struggling to find an Email or post address to enclose my administrative review in order to get the error looked at though i could not find any proper info to send the admin review and i was not given any address details in my refusal notice!

It is extremely shocking the way i felt i have been taken for granted and as now i am working as an English teacher,i have spoken to my people who have had the same experiences and nearly 60 persons who i met so far have chnaged their minds to apply for student visa in the UK after hearing my story!!

I guess it should be made clear that nowadays the UK is trying to cut the immigrations and they no longer wanna people to come so that students would not lose their money and time in applying for students visas.

If you read the report about PARIS VISA SECTION conducted by Mr John Vine CBE QPM you will think twice before applying for UK Visa.https://www.google.dz/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0CBwQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Ficinspector.independent.gov.uk%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2014%2F10%2FParis-Report-Final-Web.pdf&ei=lcC_VKLFH8b3arku&usg=AFQjCNGHjnAfB-w0RlL2AdCRbrDPnp3eqA.

Finally,i wanna say that not all people intend to overstay their visa and remain in the UK illegally, not all people have bad intentions ( muslims) as they are cracked out to be notablly by the media.

I am not shutiing my mouth about it and i am trying to help and share my experience with any student who have the intentions to study in the UK in all Magreb countries so that they will not lose their money and time as i did.

Thanks
Omar

administrative review request
hello,
I am student from Morocco which already spend 1 year and half in Brighton,UK studying my pre-master. However, when I want to back last september 2014 I get a refusal visa due to my bank balance account which didn't meet the requirement. Consequently, I can't apply again to my university until next september 2015 because they can't provide me an other CAS statement. Therefore , I applied to university of Salford in Manchester which it have the session of january but unfortunately I get an other refusal which it cause is clearly not correct because it is mentioned in the refusal letter that I didn't provide any financial document although I provide my father bank account balance and the amount already paid to university which is mentioned in the CAS statement. On the other hand, they attach an administrative review form that I need to send it to the correspondent visa office. I was struggling to find the address of this visa office because they didn't mention it in both of the refusal letter and the administrative review form. As result, the staff of the visa office in my hometown Rabat told me to find it in the internet by let me know that it is situated in Paris. Therefore, I found two postal adresses which I already use it to send my administrative review. In this occasion I am begging you to insure me if it is the exact adresses which I should use or it is your postal address that I should use and to corporate with the visa office to study my case. The adresses That I used are:
UK Visa Application Centre
54ter Rue de Châteaudun
Paris 75009
France

UK Visa Application Centre
67 Rue Saint-Lazare
Paris 75009
France
Thank you
My bests regards

Play Fair
I wonder if anyone from the Consul actually ever reads the messages on this site? The overall theme is delay, frustration and worry because people cannot get any information in a timely fashion or SPEAK to anyone. You can hear the anxiety if you read the messages on this site, since people are ready to reveal personal information like telephone numbers (which you are advised not to give on a public site)in a desperate attempt to get a response. On the rare occasion when you do manage to actually have a real live conversation, which you have to pay for in advance by credit card irrespective of whether you have reached the right person, the staff member you speak to is generally very nice but unfortunately not often able to answer your specific request. So in the end there is more anxiety and frustration and more unanswered queries and redirections. I know Consular staff need some buffer but come on - play fair.

what to do about passport name change ?
I recently remarried in France where we live ....and now have a passport with 7 years to run but with my previous married surname . We paid out such a lot for certificates and official translations ...as well as the 2 costly certificats de coutume ...that I really can't afford a new passport . Is there any document I can carry with the passport instead ?
