Comments on this Consulate-General
I am a married British subject have a UK driving. I have requested a French driving licence.
All my existing French official identifications are with my married name. This includes the important Carte de Sejour and Carte Vitale.
However my French driving licence is in my maiden name. The department refuse to change the license or to recognise my married name of fifty years duration. This is both annoying and does not correlate with any other document of identification. What can I do?
Good day,
My daughter with still has Cameroonian nationality,
will be going with her French schoolclass to England in February. She is holder of a 'Carte Special'and is resident in France since 12 years.
I read somewhere on gov/uk,that in that case she does not need a visa.
Is this correct?
Thank you for responding.
I and my husband are about to make an application for French Naturalisation. We are having trouble establishing what documentation we need from the Criminal Records Office in the UK which would fulfil the requirement for a "Casier Judiciaire". There are two options: A "Suject Access Request" or a "Police Certificate". Can you please tell us which we need?

How to apply via Internet?
The first question on this page by 'Laura' is exactly the question I intended asking the british consulate here in Paris.
Where do I find the answer ?
I am British and have been living in France for many years. I want to apply for French nationality, therefore to have dual nationality British-French, do I need to contact the British Embassy/Consulate to ask their permission to have French nationality? Someone told me I need to do this, sounds rather strange, is it true. Thank you in advance for your help.
