When I last lived in France, which was for a year as a student in the late ‘60s, I was advised to register with the local UK consulate. Does this still apply? I have UK nationality and am therefore also an EU citizen. I and my son are planning to stay in France an indeterminate length of time.we are naturally very anxious about the Brexit situation as no one seems to know anything. How does one make decisions in an absolute fog? I would appreciate advice.
I lost my UK passport at Marseille airport this afternoon. Can I obtain a document to enable me to return home to London on this Sunday please?
