Missed our Alaska cruise
Arrived in Seattle the 13th of Sept. And went to your consul to obtain a visitor visa for my wife who is Brazilian. We were told they did not issue visas there and we would have to go to the LA consul for it. As our cruise was on the 17th needless to say we could not acquire one on such short time to travel there and back. We decided not to visit in Vancouver and got to the ship on the 17th and were told my wife could not go. QUESTION: If we stayed on the ship during the stop could we have went or is there a law against it? Please advise my email is. hrrww@yahoo.com. Thank you, Harvey Wilson

Clarification requested: Canada tourist visa
I am being given to understand that to travel to Alaska the Indian passport holders don't need Canada visa (if not disembarking at Vancouver). The port of boarding is US port.
Has anyone experience in this regard?

new passport
I will be in CA in a couple of weeks. I am a Canadian citizen living in French Polynesia and my Canadian passport will expire next March 2017. Would it be possible to renew (for 10 years) within a short period of time while in LA?

Passport photos rejected
I live in San Diego, CA, and applied for both daughter and myself. The photos have been rejected, now I need to drive up to LA because of required 20-day turn around time. Need to know if I can get our photos taken at the Los Angeles Consulate or approved photographer nearby, so we can finalize and get photos correct asap. If so, what are the times this photographer is open?
Thank you.
