Trip from NY to NY visiting two Canadian Ports
I have a Cruise Booked in October going to New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. I am going to Cancel due to the fear the Canadian Border Officials will deny me entry, due to my inadmissibility from these DUI's from the 1970's. I found out about my inadmissibility while traveling from Seattle to Vancouver by Train to take a Cruise ship back to Los Angeles back in October. I am in the process of filling out my Criminal Rehabilitation Application and have been waiting on my FBI Report since submitting October 31st. I have had many restless nights since. I really hate that my wife must suffer along with me for my stupid adolescent behavior. I hope someone reads this and learns that DUI's are extremely serious offences and don't just go away after a decade or two.

2 DUI over 35 years ago
I had 2 DUI's in the 1970's, got married in 1980 and have had a perfect record since. I lived in Los Angeles County my entire life and have own and have lived at the same address since 1981. I retired in 2012 after 28-1/2 years at the same employer in a safety sensitive work environment. Is there any short cuts possible in the Criminal Rehabilitation process for me? Do I really need to contact the courts and requests for Arrest records and court proceeding of my arrests in the 1970's?
