Four years ago I was denied entry into Canada due to a DWI that I received eight years ago. I am going on an Alaskan cruise this summer and one of our stops will be in Victoria. I would like to disembark to see a Canadian friend coming over from Vancouver. What do I need to do to be allowed into Canada being that I have been denied access?
I am Canadian Immigrant, I came to USA along with wife on visit visa. My spouse was also Canadian Immigrant, but her PR card has expired.Did she get visit visa?
My Canadian fiancee and I want to get married, but are not sure of the most expeditious way to do it. He is in Vancouver, BC and I am a US citizen living in Dallas, Texas now. We live together 7-10 months of the year now, but he has to return for medical compliance to Canada and I have an elderly mother here to take care of.
Can you advise us of the different requirements that need to be met for him to be able to move here with me , and/or for me to be able to live there with him for extended times. We would like to get married soon, but want to make sure we are doing it the best way.
If this is not your area of expertise, please advise another source. I have read several articles, but feel more confused! We are both retired and receiving benefits from our respective countries.
Thank you very much,
S Gregory
