Dear Sirs or Madamm.
I have a question regarding taxs.
I was told in Portugal that I have to fill out the tax return in portugal being I have properties but they are not income properties.
I was told I have to declare in portugal the money I make here and fill out tax return there declaring the money I make here just like we fill out tax return here in Canada.
Is this true?? this would make sence if I have income properties there but I dont.
If true Please advise me.

Try calling the consulate. What a joke.
That was the most irritating attempt to get a hold of a live person but I pressed those numbers and got through to someone and he answered all my questions. Try it out.
What was your friend doing for 41 years that he never applied for his Canadian Citizenship so that he could stay in Canada LEGALLY??? Also, Portuguese has 2 U's .......not 1
