If anyone else has noticed, trying to reach ANYONE at the embassy is ridiculous. As someone pointed out earlier, the general email listed at the top doesn't work. You can reach Elisa at: elisa.ribeiro@mne.pt (but be aware, she doesn't always reply!)

contact email
Hi, I'm trying to send an email to the consulate of Portugal in Vancouver but the email provided here on the website is not correct. It is listed as mail@vancouver.dgaccp.pt
but that is not a valid email account?
Does anyone know an email address to contact them?

Criminal Record Check
Is a Criminal Record Check required prior to applying for a Visa for a student who will be studying at a University in Portugal for 1 semester in the fall of 2017?

If so, what is the contact info of the requesting agency?

Thank you!

The Portuguese embassy websites and contact info for all locations in Canada are an utter joke. Everyone I speak to in person or on the phone, if it's my lucky day, tell me completely different things. I've been going in circles for months. Can they not provide actually useful service and a reliable method to actually speak to someone? wtf?
