Visa and Passport Photos
Dear Sir/Madam.
I am employed in the Photographic Industry, and have been approached to supply photographic paper to a company whose business involves taking of Passport/Visas photos. The question has come up that the back of the paper must not contain any writing eg. Canon Hiti etc. but must be blank. Is this correct?
Many Thanks
Anne Taylor

Can anyone tell me how long it takes for the consulate in Pretoria to issue settlement visa's for dependants. We applied on the 6th June (straight forward applications) paid R11534 EACH and to date it still shows processing. I am british and my husband has just renewed his spouse visa for another two years.

course with Hamle school of sailing
My visa was refused on the grounds that they do ot believe that I intend to leave the UK at the end of the period of the course. The course has been paid for in full and this is information that was not asked for at the time filling in the aplication, and my stay in Hamble when shore based has not been finalised as I was waiting for HYS to send me all the places to stay while on the course. The course start on the 2nd of June and I have only 7 days to rectfy this This has so far cost me R130,000 not refundable after 28 day's from the start of the course.
Please advise what to do now

Need Visa urgently
I am very desperately trying to get hold of someone at the Brtish high commissioner in pretoria as I am scehduled to fly to the UK tomorrow and still do not have my ancestry visa. I am just trying to find out how much longer it will take so I can change flights accordingly but no one is helping me! Please assist with a phone number of someone at the consulate and not just the call centre as that does not give any other info that I don't already have. Please assist urgently! ih

APPLICATION FOR BRITISH CITIZENSHIP THROUGH MY MOTHER WHO WAS BORN IN ENGLAND IN 1914
My mother is deceased and our family is unable to locate her expired British passport. May I still apply for citizenship through her without it. I do have her birth and death certificstes and my birth certificate and passport. I was born in Southern Rhodesia in 1944 while it was still a British colony.
