amazing service
from sending application forms for my two boys and receiving the passsportS back from UK - all within 3 weeks. Also Gary in Pretoria is so polite and helpful. Was dreading trying to get through to someone and trying to get an answer and he could not have been more polite. Very impressed. 10 out of 10 all round service.!

British passport for my child
I've applied for my child and sent recently all documents (British High Commission / Pretoria) related to a first new British passport since last 2nd August 2011. How long does it take to have the feedback which has to be issued via FedEx. My email address is Patrick.Tshiani@cd.airtel.com. Writing from Kinshasa, DRC. Regards.

Passport ApplicationI
In August I spent a fotune phoning Pretoria to find the cost of a Passport & was refered to a Web site where the coST was quoted as R1600 plus registration costs.I duly sent the application plus banker's cheque & waited. On 22/09/11 I received a call from the passport office saying the could not process the application as it was R319 short cause all passports were now printed in England. Apparently the consul staff can make their own rules I told them that my pension was very small & I could not afford it, I told them to cancel the application & issue me with travel doc's for 1 journey & I was told that the consul would ring me. I would like to here the consuls' response.
