I sent my application and documents along with my USA passport for a Student VISA to the British Embassy in New York on June 30, 2014. I need my passport to travel. I am desperate, please help.
Can't reach the consulate by phone, can someone contact me at Wakkaadrian@Yahoo.com and let me now how to proceed?

I applied for the UK visiting visa since 5th of April 2014. I got an email that my documents were received and was asked to send a FedEx return shipment. I did everything. On the 16th of April I got another mail that my application will take 15 working days to process. Today is 26th June and I have not received my visa and my supporting documents. I have canceled my hotel bookings and have written series of emails to the consulate. My GWF no is : GWF031079025. Please who do I talk to for my documents.

7 Weeks of waiting n No News whatsoever!!!!
My wife's application for Spouse visa was sent about 7 weeks ago and it was received by the Consulate in New York on 17th of April. The application form clearly states "Issuing Location: British Consulate-General New York", and we got an email straight away after the online application was submitted, saying that the application form and all the documents should be sent where it says on the printed form, we did exactly that, although their website states that Settlement applications should be sent to Sheffield, UK, we were bamboozled, but we had to do what the printed form says, it makes sense, right!! Anyway, 7 weeks is gone now, and all our emails to them via their mickey-mouse website apparently goes to India and some people over there who have no idea about her application just send us on a fool errands with poor English and calling us by strange names, we have sent them more than 25 emails, and still don't even know where physically her application is. After 15 emails, they said, it might be sent back to us, because it should have been sent to Sheffield, then after another 2 weeks, they said that they might have sent it to Sheffield, then they said, there's no record of her application, then they said they would escalate the case to investigate as to where it is and start working on it, but this was the last email we managed to get out of them Indians! now even they are not even responding to our emails. So how long more do we have to wait, and what are we actually waiting for!? For her passport and a visa? for all the documents! and who from!? From New York or Sheffield or maybe India! we need to move, my job is starting in a week from now in the UK, and we are stranded here in the USA, I cannot possibly leave my wife and my baby here alone unlike the majority that do. The whole system is a sham, and particularly there's no provision for families like us who are always together, the forms are only designed for people who are living separately like one in the UK and the other in the USA or anywhere else for that matter, they don't actually think partners might actually live together at all times, this must have not occurred the Immigration secretary's little brain! I wish some human being could actually give us a coherent answer quite quickly or we will just fly with or without her visa. There are hundreds of illigal immigrants that I know of that live quite happily in the UK with no one bothering them and they usually get their residency, but people who actually want to do everything right like ourselves have to suffer and get punished for the home office's incompetency! What a scandal! I'm shocked this whole thing is not on mass media to shame and frame them! Although as soon as I get back and settle in our home in England, I shall make sure that this is broadcast on every media possible.

I need my passport back please.
I sent an application for a visitor visa to the uk consulate in Newyork, got a confirmation email that my document was received on 19th may 2014. I paid $170 for priority service no further information was heard from the embassy after 7 working days. Now I have an emergency to attend to in Paris, have had to change my flight hoping that my passport would have been sent back still no way. I have paid over $150 making calls to some people who do not even have a clue of what is happening in the embassy. I sent a letter to cancel the application and return my passport on 27th, I tracked it was received on 28th May, but still no information I am in a state of shock and my blood pressure is rising astronomically, I am planning to go to Newyork personally to demand for my passport. This whole visa process have cost me close to $1500 and I am not worried to lose it. I just need my passport back to be alive. Please help GWF031784704

How do I get my passport and all related Personal Information, not reuaired by the UK Government Immigration Office Back
I submitted my request for a family Member Permit to enter the UK in June of 2014. My applicaiton packet was signed for by a "G. Robinson" on 04/02/2014. Since then I have nothing. I do not have my GWF# as I had to acquired my forms from UK Border Agency and, now they have been disband, according to the news I am reading on the Internet.

When I submitted my application, I was told that, under normal circumstances, it should only take about 15 days, and it has been 2 months.

I am unable to call anyone who might be able to help me, have sent an e-mail to the only address Visa4UK offers and need ot find out where my passport and all other application supporting documentation are.

Please assist in any way possible; even if it is only a phone call with the slightest bit of information.

Thank you

Awaiting UK Settlement Visa from British Consulate Office New York
I am US citizen awaiting my UK settlement Visa to marry a British citizen and move to UK. It is very frustrating sent priority mail over night all my documents and application along with bio metrics had Mark Faulkner sign for it at the British office on May 15th, still no email no word that they looked at it or received it. Very frustrated because you cannot track it nor talk to a human being about it. My life documents are in that along with my passport which also cost me a lot of money not to mention the cost of the Visa itself. I wished I had some answers so I could sleep and have my mind at ease that it is being looked at. Anyone else knows anything please email me angeltoobee@yahoo.com for any input of how long it all took, any way of reaching someone for answers. I appreciate all input just name the email visa. If the British Consulate office reads these and sees this a email notifying me my Visa application is in process would be very much appreciated. I did email them once on site but 2 days later got a reply saying they did not have my application which I know arrived and was signed for at the office, it is all just so frustrating and scary. I want to move on with my life I miss my fiancee and must wait for a visa to be with him now I cannot do nothing even if i wanted to because they also have my passport. grrrrr
