not helpful
I am so tired of calling this # 212-745-0200 can not speak to live person for a specific question and have to pay $3 per minute if I have to call the "worldbridge" I mean that's a really poor service. There should be someone available to answer a question nothing everything is on the website and not on the FAQ. I hope they consider improving their service....so hard to find answer to a question have to go through e-mails after e-mails.

Not happy at all about their service. Please improve have a live person answer question without charge.

Need a visa to attend a conference in Edinburgh
I am a graduate student at Ohio State, and am willing to visit a conference in Edinburgh in June for about a week. I am an Indian national, and would need a visa. I am trying to apply online for a visa at https://visa4uk.fco.gov.uk/. However, the website has been throwing the same error for the last couple of weeks. The error message reads: "The Visa4UK website is available, however we are currently experiencing high volumes of users at the moment. Please try again later."

Please let me know how should I go about applying for a visa. Please contact me at swarnendu_cse@yahoo.com.

urgency service??
I am applying for a schengen visa this month, and it's for studying abroad in Rome. But my plan is to go to London first and then fly from London to Rome. So I have about two months to apply for a schengen study abroad visa and a UK visa. The Italian consulate said the visa may take 1 month or more to process and they would not speed up the case, and they suggest that I should ask the British high commission to process the visa in a faster way since it provide an urgency service. Is this true? Does the british consulate provide urgency service?
