To all the people who have received this sms - it is obviously a scam to get you to pay some money - see MR C B SWANEPOEL above!
I am not British / have nothing to do with anything in the UK / Visa's nor Passports and I received it too! They are obviously sending to random cell numbers and as it seems relevant to some of you, you reply and they score!
Ignore and definitely don't pay the 330 pounds!!
(the email for this payment in the sms is info.org.uk@gmail.com) No UK corporation / department or business will use a GMAIL email address!!

My fiance has received an offer to work in Bermuda. We need to start our visa process for both Bermuda and the UK. (UK-he will need to travel for business)
We are both South African citizens, however are currently working in Australia.
Are we able to go to the British consulate in Australia or do we have to go to the consulate in our own country? (South Africa)

I recieved a sms from a Mr Reginald Cummins that my compensation payout by U.N by ATM CARD has been approved and for more brief I must contact Mr Reginald Cummins via this email r.cumming@london.com will you please check if this true and not a scam. Thank you

Hi Mrs MS Conradie got a sms from a Mr Reginald Cummins from the UN Compensation fund, UK ,London branch. According to him she was awarded £1,500000 m by the fund, but after sending all relavent documents to him, he now want her to send an amount of £330 for administration cost, insurance cost and courier cost,which make up the £330. Mrs MS Conradie wants to no if this is a Scam. Please help. This for her to obtian the ATM DEBIT CARD.
In answer to which courier service to use - got hold of information on the UK number - cost me R80 to find out! they don't have a preferred one anymore but use DHL to return passport to yourself. hope this helps!
