Renew an Expired British Passport
My elderly Mother has allowed her British Passport to expire, about ten months ago. She would like to renew it but she lives in the Eastern Cape and is not computer literate. I live close to Cape Town and would like to assist her. Please advise what the best course of action would be.
Kind Regards

unprevisible costs
If a British citizen is unexpectedly such a strong stroke in Cape Town that he needs immediate surgery, will he have to die or does the British Consulate borrow them the needed money in order to save his life? And send them the bill afterwards?
Like it is done for other Embassies.
I hope for your answer by return.
Thank you very much

Can I get an Indian visa while in South Africa?
My partner and I are leaving UK on 30th September 2013 to travel various countries.
In February 2014 we are staying in Cape Town. Is it possible for us to apply for a visa to India while we are in Cape Town?
We are arriving in India on April 2nd 2014 but cannot apply now from the UK as the visa will have expired.
I have also emailed the Indian embassy in Cape Town but have received no reply.
