My passport
Hi!
I applied for a visitor's visa through the New York Consulate. I sent my documentation on April 15 and received and email on April 23 confirming that you get my documents. However, since then I haven't heard anything from you and I need my passport back ASAP. My email is emmy1rod@gmail.com
Please let me know how long it is going to take?

missing passport
I made an application since August 2014, but till date I am yet to receive my passport. I have sent several emails and wasted money making phone calls yet no favourable response was given, The UK embassy kept on tossing me about in between them and UPS. I have now decided to take up legal charges against the UK consulate for the loss of passport, financial and emotional trauma they have put me through all this while.

Impossible to receive any kind of assistance.
Horrible experience!!!! My husband is in the United States Army and is currently station in the United Kingdom. I am trying to apply for UK visas for myself and my 9 year old daughter to move to the UK to join him for the next 5 years. After filling out our applications online and sending all the documentation to the British Consulate in NY it was all sent back to me with a letter stating “Please apply under the correct visa category and send package to the correct visa application location…” At this point I am unsure what visa category we are to apply under.
We have also already paid almost $3,000 for our visas and are unable to make any changes to the application. I have called the number on the UK visa website only to pay $16.00 for 8 minutes to talk to someone who barely speaks English and who could not answer any of my questions regarding which visa category we should apply under or how we can go about fixing our current application or how we go about getting a refund and starting over. I have called every phone number I can find and e-mailed multiple times only to be given no answers that help with my particular situation. I am in desperate need of guidance. As I have exhausted all avenues I know of and just don't know what to do.

Asylum
My question is, what does a person do if they are living in the United States and are being persecuted in the United states based solely on the color of their skin, which the United states is well known for.
I am a student who has been persecuted and am seeking a life free of persecution. i dont have any money due to this situation, and am seeking protection from an embassy. How does one go about doing this. Can an American citizen flee the United states and flee persecution by right to entry asylum at a Embassy on American soil?
