NotesBeware of emailed job offers for childcare and other similar positions in the UK. These are all frauds.

• Since November 2008, no visas are granted for household workers from outside Europe. Work visas are only granted for highly-skilled positions, most of which require university degrees.

• No legitimate employment agency in the UK requires you to pay them any money. All fees would be paid by the employer.

• No legitimate employment agency in the UK uses a free email address from Yahoo, Gmail, or similar services.

• No legitimate employment agency in the UK uses a telephone number that begins with +4470 (070). These are non-geographic numbers available to anyone in the world.

• No legitimate business requests payment via Western Union.

Fake recruitment
Vikram I suggest you to trace the IP address of the email which u received from the employer. Definitely it is fake if it shows somewhere else rather then the HR official address. Secondly, call the company and cross check your call letter reference number.

I got the same kind of letter as well. Be smart don't pay the amount.

Celebrity Cruise job
Hello British Embassy team,

On 25 May I got the selection mail from unitedjobopportunities@gmail.com and they asked me some questions as interview and told me to give the interview and send the scanned copy. I did the same . Post that they give me the embassy contact number Anthony Bridget to register the visa process. They charged 25000 for this and I paid the same. Now they are asking for 65000 for Basic travel allowance. Please help me to find out either it is fake or genuine.
Regards,'
Vikram
