NotesBeware of emailed job offers for childcare and other similar positions in the UK. These are all frauds.

• Since November 2008, no visas are granted for household workers from outside Europe. Work visas are only granted for highly-skilled positions, most of which require university degrees.

• No legitimate employment agency in the UK requires you to pay them any money. All fees would be paid by the employer.

• No legitimate employment agency in the UK uses a free email address from Yahoo, Gmail, or similar services.

• No legitimate employment agency in the UK uses a telephone number that begins with +4470 (070). These are non-geographic numbers available to anyone in the world.

• No legitimate business requests payment via Western Union.

Hi Shiva,

This is the response I got:

Stanlow Oil Refinery Cheshire United Kingdom
I received the recruitment emails / appointment letter and telephonic interview calls from below given email ids and number in recent days.

email id - hr@stanlowoil.com, career@stanlowoil.com
Number - +44 151 329 0129

Unfortunately, no scam is reported in the name of Stanlow Oil. I called up the landline number provided in Essar Oil UK who now owns Stanlow Refinery in cheshire and came to know that these email ids are not of company domain and Mr Christopher Forrest & Jennifer Harrison who claimed to be HR Manager & Assistant are not employees of Stanlow/Essar group.

I was asked to contact Abel Owen for visa processing. Today I received email from Abel Owen stating to fill up the visa application form and in the procedure, the requirement to pay 30,000 INR was said to be transferred.

UK Visa process doesn't work this way. For further details on UK Visa, check the UK Government website - https://www.gov.uk/browse/visas-immigration/work-visas

Its a fake one
I too got the mail as the same Mr. Deepak Gupta. The details given to us is not proper. An embassy will never give a bank account details in the name of a person.Along with that you can enquire with customer care service of UK Embassy whether a person Name Richard is working there or not.
