being pregnant doesn't matter, 2nd thing if one of the parent is british then the child is british and that take you out of the equation of showing extra income, because it is clearly written that any child who you include on your application to come to uk after obtaining visa and british children are exempt from financial requirement.

It shouldn't take long for any dependant visa or settlement under Tier-1 or 2 or 3 or 4 other than British nationals or residents which takes almost 6 months or more.

Spoke to solicitor she wants to see the paperwork, which I will have emailed to me 2mor... She has advised to me to appeal but I will see... Kinda confused what to do... Plus to ad another factor to this story is missis is due in July... So it's going to be a hard...

It would be best to reapply.. do u have a years worth of documents now? n how cum its a year? y wasnt 6 months enough? :/

Tier 1 general migrant visa don't apply to British national or residents, it's more of a dependent visa for spouse not a settlement visa

Remember appeals are taking far longer in decisions,my personal view is it is better to re-submit a case as it much less waiting time.
