Senaan I understand where you are coming from, my good friend is a immigration advisor who was a ECO and worked for ukba so I know a fair share, my point is that people put doubts in your mind so stick to professional help. Indeed there is no harm in taking advice but just be vary and doublt check it with professional advice, but then again some people who didn't even have legal advice and their cases were issued visa, all about kismet and the Will of Allah.

as far as I am aware tax has been paid on both jobs so I am not worried in that respect.

It will be a problem as the UKBA do verification checks on your employment and also Tax must be paid on your earnings. You should not apply if you are not fulfilling the criteria, its definitely be rejected.Bank statement must show your earnings from both jobs.

Seenan
Hi seenan

I have been in employment for 17 months with first employment and the second job where I receive cash in hand job, as been 7 months. Yes both are Permanente. For both jobs I have got my wage slips and letters to confirm my employment meeting the requirement of the UKBA, I also have my P60 for the 1st job but as I have only been in employment for 7 months with the cash in hand job and started after April 2102 I will receive my P60 for this in April 2013. No I have never banked this as I have not the found a need to.

Since when r u doing both jobs? The job u get cash in hand from is permanent?
Can u prove through docs that u paid all the tax? Will both the employers willing to give u letter as per requirement of UKBA? Have u deposited any of the money from cash job to ur bank account?

Work related
Salaam every one, first time on here I have read some comments and pray for brother and sister to have submitted or looking to submit their visa application. The question I have is relating to work, I have one salaried employment of £14,000 PA which is paid into my account and a second salaried employment of £4,800 PA exceeding the financial requirement. My bank statement only shows the payment from the £14,000 employment and my second job is cash is hand which i get on a monthly basis after tax. The all appropriate document have been on the 04/03/2013. Do you think they might be a problem with this?
