i was always very proud to be englisch,when somebody said to me,Dennis change your nationality you dont live there anymore,iwas very angry,the way we are being treated by a firm called waybridge is disgracefull,ihave 50euros for telephone invested,for nothing,and still dont know how i can get a new pass,am i still proud to be englisch, NO!!!! at the moment i am disgusted,with the way the britisch goverment its citizens in other lands totally ignores and doesnt give a damm if somebody has a problem or not,ps.a german pass is easy to get.
My passport runs out middle of June (!!!), now quite late and it looks like I have to use the difficult way (time consuming etc)and send it to England. God knows why the Embassy can`t renew it here, thought that was part of the reason for Embassies abroad ..seems as though they are not there for "us" anymore.I have now to check on the post (registered, more expensive?) and payment of fees (bank transfer?)etc, etc. Hope it gets renewed in time...keep you posted..best wishes
Finally ! I have been searching EVERY link etc to find out WHERE to send my renewal form,with fotos etc whilst living in Germany (Rheinland-Pfalz)........Considering the web site is representing and trying to "help" us in the good English language,it might have just aswell being written in Japanese........

I am an indefinite resident of Germany having Pakistani Passport. Last Year in August i gave my Passport to get a Visa for England to Visit my ill sister. Till this Time i have no Information about my Passport i have called so many Times in the Embassy, have written so many letters but no reply. I get really disapoint from the service. It is really Not upto the Mark.
I`m English, born and brought up in England but live near Hamburg and would like to simply go to the Embassy in Berlin soon with a filled in form C1 and 2 photos to renew my passport! Is that possible or have I to use the illogical method and post it all to England, as I interpret the info from the website?? If so, what is the Embassy in Berlin for? For me it is the ONLY reason I need an Embassy or Consulate!!!
We are two exchange students who need to get UK VISAs so we can travel with our holography class in May. Is it possible to get the VISA in less than 2weeks?

My visa was delayed in USA. No way to call and inquire the embassy. Got ripped off for $30. I will avoid travelling to UK and doing business with UK. A typical metality to keep holdup.
Hallo,i was recently told (03-2013)that i can no longer renew my British passport at the british Consulate -General Dusseldorf? If this is true,where in the uk do i have to go? I reside in Germany now for over 27 years and sometimes go to EastAnglia in the UK for a week in sommer.
