schedule of couriers
Hello Dear officers,

i am so amazing the travel time of my passport,i was applied a short period of family visiting visa. But when I follow track application almost the last 20 days it says 'With courier. Attempting delivery'. Through past experience after this status, it didn't take more than 3 days to the maximum. So it becomes me disappointed because my original passport not on my hand for long time even i must renew my Germany Visa for next month. So please can you tell me something about this case.

British Consulate General Ignorance
Passport of myself and my family (wife & baby daughter) stolen in Dusseldorf, Germany Feb 2013. Emergency passport application supplied to British Consulate, Dusseldorf immediately. Speculation, suspicion and repeated examination of my wife's emergency travel documents from her Embassy to the delay of issue of my daughter's emergency passport. Staff and manager administering wrong information on non- UK passports and visas stating that my wife could not travel to the UK. Also 'security' issue regarding my 7 months old daughter's identity- 'does not appear the same but I understand that babies grow. This is a problem'. These issues caused my family and myself tremendous emotional distress, hours of waiting with a small baby and countless trips to the consulate in the midst of terrible cold weather. Finally they issued my daughter's documents. Of course, at the UK border, the UK Border Agency verified that my wife's Embassy had issued the correct documents.

Unwillingness to accept credit or debit card due to additional administration coupled with ignorance and slow service left us mortified that any Consulate can be run this way.

Rip off
As you say, what a rip off.... I have just called the ips to double check that it wasn't a mistake.. They have no idea how the pricing is set up because it is all new! Perhaps someone should have told them before they started ? Twice as much when applying from outside the uk? the only thing that is different is the postage, it's disgusting!

Not understandable refusal of entry...
Unfortunately, I am also one of the victims of World Bridge Service 'team'. My nationality is Russian, however, I live and work in Germany since one year and have a very good income. As an export employee I have to travel a lot and having a Russian passport I need to apply for UK visa. So did I 2 weeks ago. Today I have received my passport back with the REFUSAL OF ENTRY...The reason for refusal (as an anonymous person writes) is the lack of documentation!!!And it is after this 10-page application form with all possible questoins???
I have also asked the person in World Bridge Service if it was enough. The answer was yes!
As a result, I have a refusal in my travel history now which is not a good thing...
Dear Sirs and Madams,
Do you think it is fair to give a refusal to a person who has never got one???Is it your legislation to send papers without any name on it?
I do not think so! I am a serious person working for an international enterprise and what you do with people (because as you see I am not the only one) is not disgraceful.

Worldbridge Algeria
British consulate in Dusseldrof or Algeria are all the same...shame on you!!!. It is like there is a contract of mediocrity between them and Worldbridge. I have never ever seen such a poor service. Worldbridge staff are so damn helpless, and you can dream on if you think you can get someone to answer the phone even though they fantasize on their website that they have a call centre. All enquiries I have sent I get those robot standard answers that Worldbridge understands the importance of my enquiry but then nothing happens...it is shame that they take tax payer money...
What I dont understand is that everywhere people are complaining from Worldbridge service and so far British consulates did not do anything to improve the service...Homeoffice does not even have the decency a survey for consumer statisfaction..it means they dont care...and furstrating our life make them happy...

Enjoy it then...in all cases we will get our visa and we will come to your country just piss you off...like it or not :)

Disgraceful, shoddy, incompetent service......
These people seem to try and make it as difficult as possible for everyone.
Rip off prices, they never answer the phones, they want payment by credit card (I don't have a bloody credit card does that mean I can't ever have a new passport for God sake ?). There is no information about other methods of payment, the info lines cost a disgraceful amount of money.

It's hard to get into the UK
Wow, I'm amazed reading all these complaints and even though I though that I was the only one having trouble getting a visa for the UK, it seems that *everyone* regardles the nacionality has troubles, too.

The application form was OK, you could save it and return to it later on. But the shock came at the end of the procedure where I was told to pay 340€ the application. What? 340€, seriously? And it doesn't stop there. After that I had to made an appointment to the world bridge and lucky me I live in Germany so a trip to Munich is not that hard. Nevertheless I end up paying 150 € for the tickets.

At the World Bridge office in Munich I had to pay 40 € again, this time for a "secure" courier service.

The most annoying thing is that you don't get actually any information at all. If you ask something to the people at World Bridge they reply that they cannot answer anything.

I know there is a lot of information on the UK borders website, but you always have further questions that need to be answerd by a person. Sadly, you're left alone there. And the hotlines are not an alternative either. They are so incredible expensive I can hardly belive that anyone calls there at all.

Anyway, it's been 3 weeks since I gave my biometric data and I'm still waiting. Eventually I got today the information that my passport has been sent back to me. But once again, I have no clue whether I got the visa or not. I sure do hope that I got it, otherwise I would have blown away 500 € for nothing.
