My wife and I are moving back to the UK and we would like to transport our personal belongings including our used flat furnishings to the UK.
Are we liable for any customs and excise duty charges?
While I was a serving soldier in BAOR we had a daughter at BMH Hannover and she was regiistered with the Consulate. At a later date when applying for Family Allowance, the local office that we applied to, managed to lose all the certificates that we sent them. which included hers and our birth certs, her certificate proving that I was a serving soldier etc. How do I/her go about getting a duplicate certificate of birth?
