nonsense
well, to get a new passport it seems we have to send all the papers, photos, etc. to England, why do we have a bloody Embassy in Germany for? I am really pissed off with this situation, it's ridiculous, no comments about the price. Kind of joke, must say

Getting visas
I think this new system of applying for visas online through waybridge is a bad idea, I think you should change it to the old system where people can go direct to the embassy and apply for visas

Gratis Passports for Veterans
Why is it that only Veterans born before 1929 can get a gratis passport ,I served 12 years in the Army and then went onto the Reserves list for another 10 , I also have my Veterans Badge that I wear with pride , but I was born in 1957 surely all men and women that have served should be able to get a gratis passport because we are all veterans inone way or another are we not ?

im very disappointed from the british embassy. It has made it so hard for us overseas britsh nationals to apply for a passport.Firstly its so confusing and hard ,u have read the guidelines many times to understand it.It should be easy and not so complicated.

New Passport
I am a British citizen born and brought up in England but live in Germany. I now have my renewed British Passport(which was very promptly dealt with by the office in UK, I must happily add), brand new, excellent quality printing... except for my photo!! I sent a very good biometric photo which has obviously been (badly) copied for the passport! THAT IS A GREAT PITY. Why a completely new passport,(at an absolutely rip-off cost of 177 Euros, incl. postage etc)is necessary I don`t know, my "old" one was in excellent condition and could have been just updated!! So, every 10 years a new passport is required - at that astronomical price! A REAL source of income for GB that must go into millions! The high price is not at all justified but as a "captive audience" we have to pay!! Sad...

Is separate application required for my 7 month old son travelling with me?
along with my wife and 7 month old son are living in Germany since last 7.5 years. We are planning to go to UK for a 10 days holiday trip for which we are lookig to apply for visa.

Through the web site it is clear to me that I and my wife ahs to apply seperately in two separate application form. But about my 7 month old son, what shall we do? Should he also apply in separate application form?

We will be thankful for your answer..
