I live in Madison Connecticut and would like to apply for dual Italian Citizenship. Must I go to Boston? Or New York City? or Providence?
Can a SS pension be transferred to Italy? If so what is the first thing I need to do?
I am interested in regaining my Italian citizenship. I was born in Messina, Italy. My parents emigrated to the US when I was a child. I would like to know how to proceed and would be grateful for your help.

I am in Assisi Italy and need certain paperwork in order to become a citizen, I have achieved residency status, Is there a way for me to get this
I recently visited Italy and bought jewelry- was charged a vat tax and was informed that I could apply for a refund on the VAT tax since I was bringing the items out of Italy- I completed the VAT Tax process @ the Naples airport and asked that the VAT tax be applied to my credit card- I did it this way as I wanted to avoid getting EUros since I was heading home- As of today I have not received the VAT tax refund and I was told it would take 7 business days and I left 10/18- SO if you are heading to Italy be sure to take the VAT tax refund @ the airport before you leave as I think I will never see my VAT tax refund
I have been trying to book appointments with the consulate for citizenship. They are now done on-line. I do get to the appointment calendar page but do not see how to actually book the appointment. All I see is none available, or on those day that it should be there is no way to either click on the date or otherwise. Any help.
I have been working on trying to get my italian passport for over 10 years...make appointments, follow instructions wait several months for another appointment...tole what to do, have these papers translated inItalian by tone of these people ... do that, spend a ton of money, make another appointment and then told that there is still something not right...am very frustrated with the process...does anyone have any suggestions on how I can actually finish and complete the process? The only completed information I have received is that I am entitled to an Italian passport...quite a bit of money has been spent and much interaction within Italy itself. Thanks for any help. please email me at onecrazyartist@gmail.com
