Question about Italian Citizenship vers. American
Good Afternoon, My name is Giuliano Giannone. I was born in Ragusa, Italy. I became an American Citizen at age 17. My parents built a home in sicily. My mother passed in 2008. Her half inerest was left in a will to my sister and I. My father owns the other 50 % interest in this property. My father wants to sell this house while he is living. My qustion to you is: AM I still an Italian Citizen, If I became an American Citizen. I understand the Italian Consulate will only do Power of Attorney's for Italian Citizens only. I will need a percuda to my father, so he can represent myself to sell this property in December 2012. Or should I hire an International lawyer to rpesent my interest??
