Comments on this Consulate-General
Please give me the emai address for the consulate. I used the email I have used for years. Got a response stating email has changed. When I send emails from the given email it is bouncing back. Help.
Good Day:
I am American born and my father is Trinidadian. Where in New York City can I apply for dual citizenship for myself?
Please tell me why I have been calling for 2 months now EVERY DAY and no one answers the phone...save for one time I dialed an extension and got someone's office that sounded like Smokey and Bunty's on Friday evening and she seemed pissed that I disturbed her. When I stated my case she suggested that I "come in and try a ting, an see if you o get tru. Me eh no." What is that supposed to mean. Time to clean house up here.
I've been waiting five months for my digital birth certificate no additional info from consul off or the legal ministry in trini..is this normal wait time to receive certificate.
I have paid for an expedited passport which was supposed to be ready before the end of July, it is already the 4th August and I haven't a clue what is going on because there's no answer when I call which is now the 4th day of calling.
I am literally calling and every number is unresponsive! This is crazy. Why have all these "Press this for this" "Press that for that" if no one will answer? Come on TrtindAD THIS IS NOT GOOD. It is horrible when you have our Consulate on American soil and is operating like this. Come on we can do much better that this.
After reading many of these comments and having my own experience with calling this agency I've come to the conclusion that your office is a fallacy. You have no intention to help anyone by way of these phone numbers that you put in place. What I suggest is that you take them down and just provide your constituents with the address of the building where they can come and get the proper help.
thats why people prefer to live in america ther services is always on time and there not rude like our people no one ansewers the phone what the hell is a receptionists receptionists terrible terrible this is not a customers come first this is typical trini style
To whom it May Concern.
No one seems to acknowledge these emails so if someone is can one respond. I've done paperwork twice and still a complete silence way to go TNT consulate.I have even gotten my US citizenship and still nothing from.
