i am iris living in south africa i have permanant residence status
If its urgent forget travelling to South Africa! I have enquired about the visa requirement and clarified on required documents and have submitted all document's on 15th of July 2015 and I was told that my visa will take minimum 5 working days. when I reached on 23rd I was told by the front desk that due to a day holiday for Eid they could process application which are submitted on 14th of July 2015 and I was told today 25th to collect the same again due to some other reasons they have decided to close early and every one are asked to come on Monday but my conference is on Monday so decide to take my passport back and canceled my trip.
Could observe some of the SA citizens who have applied for the passport renewal and waiting for more than 4 months............ All the persons in the room had a valid reason like medical, Yanga sports man who wants to join his team in SA for his play, Persons having business meeting like me, SA citizens who need to travel to see their sick parents who are waiting for renewal.
Out come is zero and productivity from the team is a big zero......... If u think of south African visa and if you have all your documents as required u need to wait at least 20 days........... If its urgent forget travelling to SA....
