The issue with this embassy is how disrespectful it is towards people. How do you give me a visa an hour to my flight, what kind of twisted minds would allow such a hideous process to occur, if you're going to deny people visas, communicate it days before their flight and whats the use of giving someone a visa a bloody hour to their flight when you know damn well your embassy is far away from the Airport. Y'all are pathetic, pathetic!!!! I tell you.
CAN I BOARD A PLANE AND TRAVEL TO SOUTH AFRICA USING ASYLUM BUT WITHOUT A PASSPORT?
I took documents to the VFS office on Friday 8th February 2019 and I was asked to return with signatures and IDs for all directors for Victoria motors limited. Since the company has over six directors (this is not stated on the application form and list of requirements!) I asked for alternatives because it would be hard to get all their signatures. I was asked to present personal bank statements with a bank recommendation letter. I presented both on Monday 11th February 2019 and they were taken in. Did not get a call within 7 working days as stated so I made a call yesterday afternoon and was told to wait till I received a call/message. I received 15 sms from 5:39pm upto 12:16pm today. The message did not mention that the visa application had been rejected so I only learnt that it had been rejected today when I went to pick the document at about 11:20am. The reason being “insufficient funds”. This doesn’t make sense since the current balance on that account is over Ugshs 15m. VFS officer asked whether I had made a withdrawal during this period, am I not supposed to use my account? My documents clearly state that all payments are to be catered for by the company!
South African Embassy, please revise your procedures.

Good afternoon. I wish to bring complains of many visa applicants arriving today, Oct 25th 2018, at the VSFGLOBAL South African Visa issuing agency on Lugogo bypass Kampala. This is the commercial company responsible for visa issuance on behalf of several Embassies in Uganda. I was there to submit my visa application. At the same time there were many people that were there to collect their visas. There were many complains from people who had submitted their passports over 7 days ago and their visas were not ready. The official message online is that visas are issues within 4 days. Most had to cancel their flights and incur costs for flight date changes. VSFGlobal staff on the receiving end were equally complaining indicating delays were not on their side but from the South African High commission. As a great global citizen, I am requesting that you resolve the holdup immediately and relief the travellers and VHSF Global staff of the hardship your actions are causing.
