NotesBeware of emailed job offers for childcare and other similar positions in the UK. These are all frauds.

• Since November 2008, no visas are granted for household workers from outside Europe. Work visas are only granted for highly-skilled positions, most of which require university degrees.

• No legitimate employment agency in the UK requires you to pay them any money. All fees would be paid by the employer.

• No legitimate employment agency in the UK uses a free email address from Yahoo, Gmail, or similar services.

• No legitimate employment agency in the UK uses a telephone number that begins with +4470 (070). These are non-geographic numbers available to anyone in the world.

• No legitimate business requests payment via Western Union.

Job offer for sweden
Hi i'm from Pune, recently i had registered for this job site clik in for abroad jobs. There was an opening for jobs in Sweden from Delhi for which my husband and i applied. The contact person's name appears to be Gene on the advertisement. We forwardedour Cv's whcih got selected and we got a call saying that we'll have to meet her in Delhi for the documentation purpose. The slary that she has mentioned is pretty good and she says fooding and accomodation is free. Now we are donfused as to whether this job offer is fake or real because she says she is in direct touch with the contractors in Sweden and she doesn't work for any consultancies in Delhi. She also says initially there are no charge once the visa comes there is a charge of 4 to 5 lakhs for both of us.So we are in a total dilemma as to go and meet her in Delhi or just just let this offer go.Please help
