VISA FROM MILAN
I am a phd student in a university in Milan. My nationality is lebanese and I need to go for a project meeting to UK for 3 day, I have invitation letter from the host company.
- I wonder if I need a visa, and if so
1. How long it going to issue one
2. Can I get it from your office in Milan or do I have to visit Rome?

Do I have to make an appointment ?
Or is it a walk in counter service ? what's the difference in charges ?
Is there any difference in the making of a passport whether it's made in Italy or in the UK ????
