My close friend Heather Gordon staying at the Hotel Natalie in Taormina has had her mobile phone stolen and has just been injured - thrown to the ground by a passing car. The occupants of the vehicle grabbed her handbag from her. She has hurt her arms and hit her head and left shocked by the experience. She leaves Taormina on 30th september on a 1pm flight, returning to the UK.She has been in touch with the local police in the area. she has a British Passport. My name is Diamond and I'm holding a Philippine passport but a resident of Dubai, UAE. I am here in Sicily and currently in Palermo and will be in Catania on July 24th to 29th. My flight back to Dubai is from Catania - London Gatwick then transfer to London Heathrow - Dubai. I have a 13-hour layover in London Heathrow airport on my flight back to Dubai. I would like to know if I require a UK visa or a UK transit visa for my airport transfer from Gatwick to Heathrow. I do not possess any UK visa, I only have a Schengen visa which is valid till September.
Could you please assiste whether I need to get one now before my flight on the 29th?

dear sir,
I was mugged on the abo ve date and this was reported to 2 police officers at my hotel. They advised me that I would have to report to the police station at via Roma 194 which I did on 2/10/11. I went morning and afternoon spending in total 5hrs and saw nobody and therefore received
no official report on my attack and loss of property.As my insurance company will
not accept my claim without a report I would respectfully ask you if it was possible for you to obtain this and forward it to me.Your help would be most appreciated. John F. Roy
