Dont worry , Ali didn't loose appeal he applied twice and got refused twice, in my opinion he should have gone to appeal after first refusal or waited 6 months before reapplying.
Once appeal is heard in court the judge decides whether the refusal was unfair , usually appeals are allowed.
Judge write his judgement in 2 to 3 weeks send it to u n BHC, BHC sends u a letter in due course of time n ask for passport etc, then they stamp ur passport and Gerrys info u to collect ur passport, it is a lengthy process but nothing to worry.
