How can I get a copy of my German Marriage Certificate?
I have lost my German Marriage Certificate and now need it in order to prove my name has changed and renew my UK Driving Licence. We married in Usingen (Taunus), but had to go through all the official stuff, like the banns, at the Frankfurt Consulate. This was way back in 1993, so I may be barking up the wrong tree. Anyone able to advise?

Notice of marriage
My partner and I intend to marry in England (we are both English), next May. However to get our notice of marriage, we need prof of address which we do not and will not have in England, as at the moment we live in Frankfurt. Can we get our notice to marry here in Frankfurt (or any where in Germany) through the british embassy?
