Are German residents (ppl from third countries currently with a residency permit) exempt from having to apply for a visa into the UK? Can only seem to find information for citizens of the EU and not so much for residents...Danke!

I represent an employment agency in the UK, and have been asked to provide candidates in Frankfurt (or within travelling distance) for a German speaking Researcher role.
This role would suit a graduate in Media, PR, Communications or Marketing and we need someone as soon as possible.
Please could you advise on the best way to reach the Frankfurt jobseekers, as I am struggling!

I was student of UEL In London. Later I got admission in University of Heidelberg. My British visa is valid till September this year. Now, unfortunately I lost my passport. I just want to get that visa again on my new passport. Is it possible and if then how I can get it. If it is possible then just give general information about it.
