Sponsored Jordanian PhD student..Very strange rules
I have to ask a question. At least you should answer my phone calls. What a bad service.... even in the embassy you have to wait for more than 20 minutes and they are always late and no exception can be made. I was invited from university in Spain for a research visit and i have the invitation letter. I am going only for four days. Why i need 500 pound in the account and you asked me to bring all documents. Very bad treatment. I booked my flight and i am travelling on 7th Dec. Now I am trying to re-book an appointment after after i book accomodation as well and brought all the required documents. There is no available date before 28th NOV. what is that ???????

extremely rude
I never had such a bad, rude and misbehave experience. They don't even know how to talk decently and ended the call while i was still talking. Very bad. Now i know why Spain is going backwards and why EU is thinking to kick out the Spain.

Good experience no issue
To all the spanish embassy will not contact you as are very busy and do not be put off by the security guard who is no help at all. Once you process your application all will be fine as long as you have ALL the documents on the day that they request. Also we applied 6 weeks before our holiday but they did not start work on this until 3 weeks before our departure and we got the visa 4 days before departure so if you have applied with enough time and have all the documents do not worry if it is taking time to here anything they will work on it but as we know the spanish leave everything to last minute but they did let us know we would have documents before departure and there was no issue if there was an issue they would let you know before you sent the application away but over all everything went well for us. I would also like to thank the spanish embassy.

Staff?
Impossible to contact these clowns. No responses to emails, nobody picks up the telephone. Good luck trying to get ANYTHING done with these. Absolute disgrace to Spain.

I am going insane trying to get an appointment with the Spanish Embassy in Edinburgh. I can get on the site but it does nothing you get dates and times but it does nothing when you click on it. I am going to scream....... I have phoned the Embassy several times and all you get is that the are busy go to there web site. I would not bother with the %$£"£ but I have already booked NEVER AGAIN.
