Tracking visa pplication in Edinburgh
I sent an email to cog.edimburgo@maec.es on a Tuesday and got a reply back on a Wednesday about how to track the progress of an application and these was the reply I got back:
“Unfortunately you cannot track your application. When you made your application the official informed you of the date when your visa would be ready (assuming all checks are passed, and he would have stamped the date on your copy of the Application Form. If you left a Special Delivery envelope, then the tracking number of this envelope can be used to see if your passport has been posted back to you.”

HOPE THIS HELPS:

tracking application in edinburgh
If you want to track your application, wait until the date that your application copy was stamped to due on for passports to be expected to recieve. Afterwards you will have to call them and ask about the status.

wonderful Experience
Myself and my husband wanted to travel to Spain. After putting together all the documents, we tried booking for an appointment in Manchester however there were no appointments anywhere in recent days for us to have at least 15 working days for visa processing. Then we decided to check in Edinburgh consulate directly and it was successful.
Even though many have said that there experinece in spanish consulate was not pleasant, we had a very friendly and wobderful experince. The gentleman at the counter to collect our documents was very helpful, and then it was very quick. Afterwards when I was concerned that our travel date is near a week, I called up the consulate and the gentleman answered the phone was very supportive and have given explanations and information about the updated status of the application for visa. Finally we have received our visa two days before our travel date.
Therefore, I believe if you provide the necessary documents and even every supoporting document which is required it will be a plasant experince in consulate for obtaining schengen visa.

Thank you to all the staff in edinbigh Spanish consulate.

Time Period
Dear All
Further to my application for a Schengen Visa, through the Spanish Consulate, in Edinburgh about a fortnight ago. I still haven't received my documents until this day. Could someone please tell me how long, it took them to receive their documents back? I have tried a few times to contact their office, but unfortunately it appears their telephones are constantly engaged.
Thank you.
