Comments on this Embassy
Why is it taking so long for work permits and why are white people let in the gate everyday to go in!!!! Just an observation. The system seems flawed!
Kindly assist me on what documents are needed for me to apply for a spouse permit in Harare. I am in Zimbabwe and my husband is in South Aftrica and we are lawfully married.

I would like to seek clarity from anyone who knows, whether Zimbabwean citizens are still illegible to enter the Republic, without having to first apply for a visitors visa at the South African embassy?
I can see from all the above comments that the SA Embassy in Zimbabwe is doing all it can to deny Zimbabweans entering into SA.HON.Gigaba said ZSP permits will not be renewed. One needs to apply for a permit in Zim after DEC.2017, It means all Zimbabweans on ZSP PERMITS will no longer be able to go back & work in SA because the permits will never be processed. People would rather start going back the old route- ASYLUM.
OR ALWAYS PAY SAPS bribe to avoid deportation

south african embassy whats happening with our work permits ,l applied in october and it was approved in january , but up to now has been calling the embassy every week and the message is its not yet stamped in the passport , does it mean you take months just to stamp permit in the passport ,once it had been approved. failing to understand
I have been waiting on a work visa since last year and firstly the application process was a nightmare. Once I submitted my application I was informed my application would be approved in 12 weeks. It is now 16 weeks and I am told my application was approved but stamping my be done in March. I am not sure why something so simple could be so complicated. Students and work permit applicants stand in the hot sun everyday and are humiliated by a tall gentleman who has more time to joke than be efficient. Worst experience EVER!
Come and and apply for a permit in Zimbabwe.
