Hello. Im gutted and disgusted that South African embassy have such worker. You need to show a lot of patience and self-control when dealing with Pascale Francoise and Corina or Corine whatever. These two individuals are easily the most discourteous and impolite people I've ever encountered in my life. They never reply to e-mails and if they do, you dont even know who reply to you. You might get just an OK as reply with them. The level of incompetence is astounding. they're just running around in the office, and when you drop by to obtain some urgent information, they suddenly behave as if they have a year's work pending. Anyway, do expect lethargic replies, delays and a serious lack of basic manners. These people don't deserve their salaries and its a shame to be serving the republic of South Africa.
Hello. All I have to say, is that you need to show a lot of patience and self-control when dealing with Pascale Francoise and her assistant (or whoever that is). These two individuals are easily the most discourteous and impolite people I've ever encountered in my life. It's fair to say they never reply to e-mails and calls, and if by chance they do, the level of incompetence is astounding. I have had to resort to obtaining important forms and documents for visa renewal from friends, after a dozen unanswered e-mails and calls to the embassy. Sometimes it's funny how they're just horsing around in the office, and when you drop by to obtain some urgent information, they suddenly behave as if they have a year's work pending. Anyway, do expect lethargic replies, delays and a serious lack of basic manners. These people don't deserve their salaries. Thank you.

To whom it may concern or to whom may be able to assist me,
I am a South African Citizen currently residing in New Zealand with a very crazy life style and have just noticed that my passport has long expired.
I have just booked my flights to Mauritius to visit my brother (will be in Mauritius on the 23rd of June 2018 until the 6th of July 2018) and seriously thinking of following onto South Africa to see my father on the 6/7/2018 before I must return to New Zealand.
I therefore need to know whether someone at the embassy/consulate will be able to assist me with the URGENT renewal of my South African Passport while I’m in Mauritius?
