Comments on this Embassy
I applied on 25 October, might go and check this coming week.
Will let you know.
Keep in touch
I applied for spouse visa on 29 Nov 16. Is there anyone who applied around the same time and has collected?
you will never understand how those people operate..the gud thing January is coming to an end. lets wait n c wat Feb will bring for us.
In as much as we all can evidently agree that all CSV will not be given priority between November and January, I know of guys that submitted their applications around 11 December and collected around Monday 16 January....so it doesnt have a formula I guess....I am also waiting for outcome having submitted on 21 December 2016
@eddiebaks
AS LONG AS YOUR PROFFESSION FALLS in this list
http://www.nwivisas.com/nwi-blog/south-africa/new-critical-skills-visa-list-of-shortage-occupations-for-south-africa/
then what it means is you need to have worked for atleast a year and that letter of employment is needed....
on the CSV application is it compulsory to attach letter from employer ? What if u want CSV to then go look for a Job? or its always that u must get a job first in SA then employer writes a letter so that u apply for a CSV
Please assist good pple
@MCH and @Who cares thanks for the information. I guess will check early Feb then
I Applied my accompanying spouse on or before 30 Oct 15. I went there on the just after new year and was told they are not yet out but to come back after 2 weeks. I am going back again sometime next week and check,
Anyone who has applied for this permit and its out??
Thanks for the info.
Still waiting for my CSV applied 15/11. I guess i have to wait till Feb then.
MCH thanks for the update, so those who applied after 11th of October for CSV must just chill lol. Its always the same story each year. August/Early September CVS visa always come out in record time usually less than 4 week, hard to believe i know. From mid October right up to the end of January processing of other visas virtually comes to a stand still as they prioritise study premits. You will notice that CSVs and other visa will start trickling in Massively end of January onwards.
Kkkkk so those who intend to apply for study permits do it in November in cases were its POSSIBLE, i know its not possible for the majority eeish so be ready for the delay and disappointment. The 15 day thing doesnt usually hold much so if you apply in December.
Heheehe CVS i recommend you use the January to June period to gather all the necessary documents diligently. Stick to the check list, no point in submitting a application that you know will get rejected. July/AUGUST/ Early September then submit you application ensuring that the SAQA assessment/ Experience/Prof Body registered with match with the category you are applying for. Definitely in October you will be holding your visa and ready for new life in Mzansi Africa most advanced economy.
Good luck to you all waiting for visa and for those yet apply i can assist you have just ask genuine qstns. These are thype of qstns i rarely reply to
" i hve been trying to schedule aoointment online but am not sucessful anyone helpp on what to do" Its obvious if fail you keep on trying until you get it right, there is no other way yiu can book an appointment
" Hi friends wanted to know if SAQA is a requirement for the General Work Permit? Please assist me those who recently applied" You need saqa for pretty much anything related to SA visa/permit except for the spousal or relative based visas. Dont bother with GWP rather try CSV in you qualify or else skip the boarder if you are that desparate. Btwn I dont condone skipping the boarder
