@Nhamo
I do have a genuine general work permit but the promotion is not in the company i got when applying 4 years ago which is the one listed on my current permit. So i am essentially moving companies.
So i cant go straight to perm rez and i dont want to go the general work permit route because the current rules are tougher than when i applied 4 years ago so i might not get it under general work permit hence wanting to move to CSV.
If you have a genuine 5yr general work permit then you do not need a csv. You are eligible to apply for permanent reaidence permit.
Good day guys,
Please may you assist with information. I am a social worker with 6 years working experience and have been promoted to Management post. Social work does not fall under CSV but can i apply under the corporate general manager category since i am now in management?
I currently have a general work permit expiring next year.
Thank you.
Corporate general manager institute of directors 7yrs exp Sa degree.
You can only apply in south africa if you currently on a valid permit excluding ZSP permit.
how come i went there last week applying for spousal permit they told me all aplications r now done in your own country nd told m to go to Zim embassy. Am surprised

I applied for a CSV and since i was n a ZSP i asked the lady if I can courier my passport. She said its ok. I couriered my passport back to Zim with DHL and only got the message that it has to be stamped at the border. I had it send back to SA and I went back to be stuck Zim with the stamped passport. I submitted it after the other documents were already gone. What is the implication of this?
Is this delay by the embassy justified? This service is paid for and 8 weeks is now 4 months. Why is it taking long for the visas to be processed and why taking away passports during the process. Lives do not revolve around SA even though its a preferred destination. Is there a way of getting this information to the minister of Home Affairs because I think this is technical xenophobia were you simply get silent treatment and then find your way out of the system.
