Comments on this Consulate-General
In Aug/17 my son & I went to Toronto to register my marriage & apply for Portuguese citizenship. Today (10 months later) again we did the 3 hour drive. I was told that the person who took our applications has been off sick since Sept/17 & because they are short-staffed no one has even started processing it. Is there not an office manager there? How can they justify all of those files just sitting in his basket untouched? Portuguese General Consulate, how can you treat people like that? Do you think that giving us lame excuses or ignoring us is proper?
I tried Portuguese Embassy - they can't find me on their database.
Emailed Portuguese Consulate - they read my email but didn't reply.
Could someone please let me know where to go or do next?
Thank You!
Hello my passport is going to expired on January 2019. I would like to renew it. I have some questions:
1. What are the requirements need it to renew a passport?
2. How long does it take to get the new passport back once I finalized all the documents that are required?
*If I would like to get my citizen card, I never applied for it before. What do I need in order to get it?

My nephew in Nigeria was born and lived in Portugal. He was Robbed and beaten . In Nigeria . Everything was stolen even his clothes.
He is very ill with Malaria and internal Paracites. Due to the cost of Medicine and the fact that in Hospital you do not get fed. And meds were a $1000 a time he now has nothing.
The Portuguese Embassy in Abuja Nigeria . State he is not Portuguese.ans will do nothing.
