Registering my parents marriage
To register my parents marriage is it okay to have a photcopy of ye marriage document and if I only have my fathers social insurance numbers not the actual card, it got stolen and never replaced, he has his Medicare and I have my passport social insurance and Medicare my mother has her drivers license Medicare and birth certificate!! Is this sufficient enough? My appointment is tomorrow at 10 so I need to know.

firstly your site has no information about moving or living there! secondly in english or spanish or french? what about portuguese which is the country of origin?

Frustrating
I've just had the most frustrating experience at the consulate of the country I was born. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was rude, frigid, and at times hostile. Way to go... to show your country in a good light! NOT the way to do it.

Please could I ask for your assistance.
I worked at Resolute Bay,NT in 1979. There were several people working there who were part of the Portugese community in Montreal. One of these people was Manuel Chaves who as a labourer at Resolute Bay. He had the very difficult job of keeping the entrances and exits clear of snow. He was always cheerful. He never complained about his difficult job.
