Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to you to express my admiration for the Indonesian prison system which has transformed the lives of the two Australian drug smugglers, Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran. Far from being criminals now they have become reformed and fine young men with the potential to influence their world for good. This is something we in Australia aspire to in our prison system and sadly too often fail.

I know too that under our current government Australia's human rights' record is not to be admired. That does not mean that Indonesia cannot show Australia up by proving itself to have a much better human rights record!

My hope then is that you will do whatever you can to influence your government and your President to halt the planned execution of these two Australian men so that they may continue to be the better men they have become while in Kerobokan Prison.

It seems illogical to me to spend so much time and energy on reforming them so successfully only to kill them at the end. Please do what you can to spare them so that they may continue to influence others for good in the prison system. I have heard that they are admired by other prisoners and by those that guard them. They are also greatly admired here in Australia, not for their terrible crime of drug smuggling but for the good men they have become over the last ten years.

It is heartbreaking for us all to listen to the news from Indonesia at the moment.

Execution
Please stop this execution it is barbaric. People avoid travelling to Indonesia it will hurt them financially, also the government need to stop being so generous with funding this country, who don't respect Australian lives

There government should be charged with pre mediated murder Olá

Death penalty
Spare a thought for the undoubtedly very young soldiers who will be chosen to be executioners.the consequences for their lives can only be imagined.
Even a very short perusal of the history of the death penalty shows a preponderance of very young or very disturbed individuals among the executioners

Government murder
These two drug smugglers done the wrong thing and broke the law. They have spent nearly ten years in prison and have shown that they are rehabilitated, so what good will killing them achieve. Yes it will make your small minded president feel powerful but how much damage will it do to your country's reputation.
We have seen much slaughter lately being carried out by the daesh in Syria and Iraq and if these two are shot then Indonesia will be lowering their standards to that of daesh

Andrew and Myuran
Your country is committing cold blooded murder on these men. There is no reason to murder them, they have already paid for their crime and could help others. I will never visit Bali again if these men are murdered. You are showing your country to barbaric instead one of compassion and forward thinking. It will be a bad day for Indonesiaif you go ahead with this. Mercy you may need it one day.

Executions
It's barbaric to keep a person alive for so long then shoot them.

Please grant clemency
Please do not kill two men who made a mistake and have repented.
It is barbaric for this to occur in 2015. Please forgive them and not kill them.

As human beings we can change as well as forgive.

Australia is crying tears for two strangers, I am.

Please President Widodo grant them clemency.

Really nasty person
there was a person called Ken who made a very nasty and ignorant comment.
I am sure he is not from Australia as we like to think our people are aware of rehabilitation and that people can change.
Drug dealers are not good but every person deserves the right o prove they have grown and these 2 have.
I think Ken is from a backward Amaerican state.
