death penalties
The death penalty is for places that are not able to offer reahilitation. In this case Bali did but the country not able to see that.
They should promote this and develope it so as a country they can develope.
Shame on Indonesia and the presidents lack of ability to see that killing these people will breed a large resentment to his country.
I won't be going there as I am scared of the place.

Lack of respect for life and the law
Today removing the 2 Australians while the case is till being held is a lack of respect and sophistication as a Nation.
The president has only done this as a bullying tactic .
I now know that Indonesia is of another time .

Bali Executions
ISIS take prisoners out to the desert and behead them. Indonesia takes prisoners out to the jungle and shoots them. (a man being beheaded will die faster than those being executed by an Indonesian firing squad). Indonesia will now be seen world wide as a barbaric country on the same level as terrorists. Joko Widodo will bring Indonesia to its knees with this decision. I am disgusted, horrified and saddened by the vile end chan and sukumaran will have.

If it was your family member you wouldn't advocate dealth penalty
To those previous commenters advocating the death penalty - if it was one of your family members facing the firing squad would you still advocate the death penalty for them? I think not.

Death penalty is state-sanctioned wilful murder. It is barbaric and uncivilised under any circumstances.

Indonesian judicial system is riven with corruption and judges can be bribed. In fact, a judge hearing one of these 2 boys previous appeals was later charged with corruption. Bribe a judge in Indonesia - you can get a lighter sentence.

Widodo is showing himself to be a weak President, not a strong one, by proceeding with these executions.

The Death Penalty is totally BARBARIC
The death penalty does not stop crime.
The execution of people is barbaric and immoral.

It is the same as the beheadings carried out by terrorists!
Your country will be seen in a similar light to these terrorists.

You ask for clemency for your citizens placed on death row in other countries, yet you turn around and commit this hanus sentence without hesitation!
Obviously this is a politically motivated decision as this has no moral rational about it!
Your countries standing internationally is at stake.
I am sickened totally by this situation.

Murder - Calling for boycott - Drug consumers are to blame
I call for an historical boycott in order to send a clear message to Mr Widodo.

Consumers are to be blamed for their own drug addiction. You know drugs are not good for you, nobody puts a pistol in your head to take drugs.

i have been offered drugs in the past and not only i have refused to take them but also informed Police about the guy who offered them to me.

Consumers are to blame, more than traffickers. Soft and dumb people who take drugs are to blame for their own death. Darwin's natural selection made it clear.

And don't come up with the idea about vulnerable people again, i know the story

executions
Mr Widodo
Andrew and Myuran deserve to LIVE.
May your God forgive you for what you are doing.
Life is about learning by mistakes...these men have learned a lesson. Have you never made a mistake in your life Mr Widodo?
Instead of killing the mules, track down the big-wigs of the drug trade. If these boys are killed, Indonesia is definitely and permanently off my holiday destination, along with many other Australians.

Andrew and Myuran
Your President. How can he be so hard on his decision to kill Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran. Has he no mercy on two souls who have realised the enormity of their crime and mistake, and who are now thoroughly remorseful, and have been rehabilitated under your jail system. Doesn't this President speak to his wife, parents. Surely he has been forgiven by them for any dismeanor he has ever done, or does this President ever make a mistake? Is his pride something that cannot be questioned. Please President, you will be considered a better world leader if you can pardon them. Please speak and gain advice from those closest to you. Please show your great wisdom.

Eliminate the Drug Scum Soon!!
Don't believe the Media hype re Australians calling for the saving of the drug suppliers presently under the death penalty.

Go right ahead & carry out their punishment. It has been known for years the possible punishment for drug related offences could be death. Rehabilitation! Too little, too late.

I've seen personally the damage & death peddled by drug suppliers. The best place for those two is 6ft under.

Drug Trattickers, No further delay
Indonesia should proceed with the executions without any further delay. Indonesia has to show it can't be bought with Australian dollars and political promises.
The message must be loud and clear to any future drug traffickers regardless of country of origin.
