Sir
You were born in Tuticorin, India,in 1960. Your father and mother both from Tuticorin, got married and registered their marriage in Tuticorin in l959. These facts confirm your Indian status What do you want to know more. You stated that your grand father and mother were born and got married in Mahe, French India,It is not known whether the said grand parents are from paternal or maternal side, Do you want to claim french nationality? Certificate of french nationality can be asked only by the persons who conserve the said nationality. You admit that you are an indian national holding indian passport. Yours sincerely

Sir,
without knowing the correct details of your father, you are wasting in this site your time and also others' time. When your father is alive he is to speak and act. If you take him to the foyer du soldat or to the French Consulate general at Pondicherry with all his papers, you can get all the useful informations. Yours sincerely,

Sir.
In reply to your last email, I ask you to trace out your father's papers. The ex servicemen, (ancien combattants)not eligible for pension were getting secours from the French consulate general, Pondicherry. The amount was deposited in a Bank account. I don't know why you are troubling yourself without checking the papars. Your father is the right person to clear your doubts. Is he alive or not?. Yours sincerely

thank you for giving the correct reply sir.my doubt has been cleared sir.u told that if he served in military for 15 years in france.then only he can eligible for the pension.as i know that my father worked in saigon for 2 years and went to france and worked as a caporal chef for 4 years only.but after returning to india he got pension for 9 years .duration of pension :1959-1968..what is the reason for getting the pension.after that the pension was stopped.without completion the service as you told he should served for 15 years but he got the pension from the consul in pondicherry.is there any offers giventhat time by the french gouvernment for providing the pension who served in the military?
i dont know whats gone sir???but i hope you will get the correct answer to me sir..
