Sir,
You were born in 1978 in India (?) Your father was born in Chidambaram, India, in 1938 and died in 1989. your paternal grand father was born in Pondichery, Therefore your father conserved french nationality without need to make option under the Franco -Indias treaty of cession, 1956.
As your father was french at the time of your birth you are eligible to ask for CNF by paternal filiation, Yours sincerely

Madam,
Please go through, in this site, the questions about french nationality asked by the public and answers given to them. Then you will be in a better position to know how one gets or acquire french nationality, First of all ,the effect of the franco indian treaty 1956 on you, shall be examined. Acording to this treaty, french citizens born in french India and completed the age of 18 years on 16.8.1962 and domiciled in Fr. India or Indian Union should subscribe their option to conserve french nationality in the French Consulate general of Pondicherry within a time limit of six months to run from 16,08.1962. In case you were a minor, your french father, if he was not alive, your french mother, born in Fr, India should include, if they desire, your name in their option application form. If they failed to make option, they will lose french nationality and become Indians w.e.f 16.8.1962 and you will follow their condition. If you were born after 16.08.1962, you have to prove that either your father or mother was french at the time of your birth. If you were born in Indian Union, and married a french citizen before 16,08.1962, you have to prove that your husband was french at the time of your marriage to acquire french natinality . Please study your legal situation with the above details, Yours sincerely.

Sir.
You were born in 1958 at Pondicherry, to your parents born also in Pondicherry, At the time of dejure transfer of Fr India into Indian Union you were a minor aged 4 years. According to the Franco Indian treaty of 1956 which came into force on 16.08.1862 if your father was a french, he had to subscribe in the French consulate general at Pondicherry the option to conserve his french nationality and if he was willing he could include the names of his minor children in his application for option, If he had opted for himself and yourself, your father and yourself will conserve the french nationality. Otherwise, both oj you will lose the french nationality and become Indians. If your father was not alive on this date and if your mother born in Pondicherry was french, she had to act like your father to conserve french nationality for her and yourself, Regarding the variation about her place of birth in her french B/C and M/C, the entries in her lst anterior doct will prevail over the second, Yours sincerely,
will prevail over the second,
my name natraj born in pondicherry birth certificate 1938'
my mother name visalatchi born in pondicherry birth certificate as 17/06/1929
my father name sundar born in pondicherry birth certificate in 1919
my mother and father married in pondicherry in 1950
in her marriage certificate registered in pondicherry its showing that she is born that my mother is born
in thiruvannamali in 1933 as my grand mother native is thiruvannamali.
also inform me whether i am elegible for cnf?

Sir,
The second copy is not a true copy of the first one.
The attestation entries may differ if the attestors are not the same in both the copies. What is important is that the text io both the copies should be the same. Yours sincerely,

Sir,
You were born in Pondicherry on 30.06.1965. Born in India, you can be a french national if your father or mother was french national at the time of your birth, Your fatjer was born in Pondicherry in 1940. He should have opted to conserve french nationality under the Franco Indian treaty, 1956. Otherwise he will become Indian, Please study your case and then act. This site is not for guiding and helping you how to get french nationality, It is your personal matter. You have to contact a french lawyer, Yours sincerely,
