The service at the embassy is very poor. We have been going up and down from Gauteng to Lesotho every month. Every time we got there they wanted something else. I don’t understand why they can’t tell a person all the things that will be needed to apply for study permit. They also give false information regarding the time that it will take for the study permit to be ready for collection they told us that we should check after 2 weeks and the other gentleman told us on the phone that it will only be out after 4 weeks. I suggest that they send a message to the applicant once the permit is out instead of always calling to check if it’s out and ready for collection because even when you call they don’t even check they just answer without checking if it’s ready for collection or not, they don’t even ask for your details to check if the permit is out. I’m totally not happy with their service especially because they are working with people and the attitude they have is totally unacceptable.

I am much disappointed with the service at South African Embassy in Maseru i have been waiting for my permit since 09/02/2018 i have visited the Embassy today and i was told that the printing machines has broken off and i should know that even if they get it right i should wait for another month because of the back-log they are having, my only question with regards to this matter is my 8 weeks had lapsed and according to the letters pasted on the walls it is says 8 weeks my argument is how many people are losing their marriages, jobs and other matters like children overstay in Lesotho many people are complaining about this issue and believe me staff at the Embassy they careless especially the one who is sitting at the cashier counter who is speaking Sesotho he is so rude that gentle men he does not appear to be friendly and he answered people with disrespect. Rev H M Majeke can someone speed up the process of the permit people are suffering at the Embassy. Some of us are losing jobs and you don't to see poor kids running around the streets without fathers kindly assist us.

I have a child with Lesotho Citizen and she left with him without my knowledge and my affidavit on the 12th of March 2018 and we applied for the South African late Birth Certificate in Free State (Welkom, Home Affairs)but she decided to enter in Lesotho without proper paper work and there are at HA-LIPHOTHO(THABA BOSIU) and don't want to talk with me and my child and she decided to take my son that was attending crèche in Virginia and I'm still paying for my child school fees and transport because she lied that they are going to Germiston(GAUTENG PROVINCE)I'm desperate for my future of my child because I wanted him to get proper documentation for him to visit his grand parents lawfully not in this manner..My number is 0739737307
