BAD SERVICE
How can someone apply for a passport when no one answers the phone and the web site is not working? This stamen it is a joke. Typical of the Mexican government. I can help but wonder if the web site is not working in purpose so the employs can collect the pay check with minimum effort. It is too bad that we can’t just show up and given the twenty {la mordida} dollars and get the passport instead wasting our time trying to call or login.

Making an appointment
No trouble here. Got an answer quickly, only issue was that it was difficult to hear. Received an appointment time within 5 business days of my call. Thank, You!

IDENTIFYING CONSULATE PERSONNEL
If the Mexican Consulate were to press charges against a United States born legal citizen, for supposedly having received money from illegal Mexican citizens, would they call you on your cell phone? Also, they are threatening to press charges against the son of the person that received the said money.

I would think that if this were a legal situation, the Mexican Consulate would have sent letters to the individual, correct?

Bad Service! RUDE "PROFESSIONALS"
I have gone her to get my passport and last time they made such a big deal on my signature! Which I signed at age 15. Aside fro that girl that was helping me said "Esbribe tu hombre complete" which I did. The "manager comes yelling at me why I had done that, I told him why all he said was "no es tu fima" of course it was not!
They are not helpful at all. They only give one year passport because I they don't accept that I grew up here.

How do I get an appointment?
I tried to call the Portland Consulate in order to make an appointment to begin the paperwork for my residente temporal visa. I tried to leave a message but was told, via automated voice, that my message was not heard. Please, is it possible to make an appointment or do I just show up at the office during the 1 1/2 hours they deal with visas? I will be in Portland only one week in May. Can anyone help me?
