Residencia Temporal
I had a very good experience at the Consulate of Mexico in Detroit. Went to get a Visa and brought the doc. need per the directions found on this web site. I arrived 15 min early (per the directions) and was immediately helped. about 1 hour later I was out the door with my visa placed inside my USA passport.
BUT... after arriving home I found my name was miss- spelled. That brings me back to this sight to make a new appointment. All 4 people who helped me were kind and very helpful. Just a typo....

Disapointing experience
It sickens me how rude people are who work at the Detroit consulate not only to me but everyone there. This place is dirty, small and don't have enough seating for people. Even if you make an appointment expect to be there 4 or 5 hrs. No communication what so ever so you never know what's going on with your paperwork. Had an unfortunate bad experience. Hope they change this place and make it a better environment for future applicants

What are the documents needed to apply for citizenship for myself and children? Also, what is the process for attaining an appointment regarding the Mexican naturalization process? My husband and their father is a Mexican Citizen.

I am 20 yrs old and have never gotten my matricula or passport. I have been in the U.S. since I was 4months old, so all my school records just contain two names; my first and father's last name. I've tried before to get my matricula, but was denied b/c I have no I.D. with my full (four) name. What else can I bring? Or what can I do? Please and thank you for your time.

RENEW PASSPORT
What is the procedure to make an appointment for renewing my expired passport. I called the Mexitel number, and was told that the nearest possible location was in Detroit, even though I reside in Chicago. Now am unable to reach anyone via phone from Detroit. PLEASE HELP.

Thus far this is a worthless effort!!
